About the Economic Development Authority
What is the KGEDA?
King George Economic Development Authority (KGEDA) works in coordination with the Department of Economic Development and tourism to support creation of new jobs, expand the tax base, and expand the economy. The KGEDA is chartered through a state law that allows cities and counties to form industrial economic development authorities with varying powers unavailable to local governments, to facilitate economic development within the community.
