Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD)
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division originally established itself as the major testing area for naval guns and ammunition. Today, it continues to provide the military with the development and integration of warfare systems for the warfighter, warfighting and the future fleet.
Partnership with the Economic Development Authority
The King George Economic Development Authority has a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) with NSWC Dahlgren Division to market and connect the base with businesses and educational institutions that would be interested in developing cutting-edge technologies and commercializing governmental lab technologies.
